Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-06-12

These terms govern your use of EORI registration check (https://eori.sellerguardrails.com), a free informational eligibility tool. There are no user accounts, no registration, no subscriptions and no paid features on this site.

Nature of the service

The site helps you determine whether a trade flow needs a GB EORI, an EU EORI, an XI EORI, or none, and points you to the responsible authority, the application portal and the per-Member-State document checklist, with reference to the Union Customs Code (Regulation (EU) 952/2013 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2447). Every output is an orientation aid, not a binding ruling. It does not file customs declarations, does not submit EORI applications, and does not constitute legal, tax or customs-brokerage advice. Final EORI eligibility depends on case-specific facts and the determining Member-State authority. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified customs adviser.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully, not to disrupt or reverse engineer its operation, and not to misrepresent its outputs as official determinations of any customs authority.

Our content

The texts, decision logic, datasets and design are owned by the site operator (identified in the legal notice) unless otherwise attributed. You may quote short excerpts with attribution; commercial redistribution requires prior permission.

Third-party references

The site cites third-party sources (the European Commission, national customs authorities such as Zoll, AEAT and HMRC, and EU regulations) for reference. We are not responsible for the availability or continued accuracy of external resources, including the application portals linked from the verdict.

No warranty and liability

The site is provided "as is", free of charge. Datasets may become outdated; the "verified" date shown on each result reflects the last review. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of the outputs produced — including registrations applied for, declarations filed, penalties or delays assessed by any customs authority.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
